About Grahama’s House
Grahama’s House is a unique and engaging Mutant Vehicle brought to you by the Funky Ones and our Burning Man subsidiary Elephant Bird Camp. A fantastical and surreal rendition of a granny’s home, inside and out, Grahama’s House also features a fully functional performance stage on top.
As a comforting, yet creepy component of large events such as Decompression and Treasure Island Music Festival, Grahama’s House features a band of roaming grannies who scold and then forgive guests for their festival antics while giving out cookies and posing for photographs.
The project was led by Graham McLeod with support from the Funky Ones. Financial backers are Graham McLeod, Emily Scarborough and the Funky Ones. Design and building by Graham McLeod and Michael Angelo Passalalpi.
